The CMA Entrance Examination is a key element in the accreditation process.  The objective of the Entrance Exam is to evaluate whether candidates have acquired the CS-1 competencies indicated in the CMA Competency Map.  The exam will focus mainly on the technical skills of candidates within the accounting, risk management, and financial components of the six functional competencies through the use of multiple-choice questions.

The exam is offered in June and October, it is four hours in duration, and includes 100 to 120 questions.
